💭Our Thoughts
This was such a solid read
All the action and suspense I expected from a Harlequin Intrigue
The romance is secondary IMO, but still very existent
Kept me flipping pages and crossing my fingers from the beginning to the end (hey don't judge there were some close calls)

Carlos and his son Luca were both healing from the loss of his wife/mother. Life wasn't perfect but it was pretty good.
Until he and his son catch the eyes of poachers
Needing help he turns to his friends at South Beach Security

Natalie and her sidekick K-9 Missy

This is the second book in the series, Don't worry it is a standalone but the cast is from previous books. Trust you will want more from them after reading Carlos and Natalie's story
Lots of edge of edge-of-your-seat suspense.
Page turning twists.
Plenty of family-by-choice support
"Aww" moments that will give you the warm fuzzies
And the cutest little ones - both Missy and Luca will steal your heart
Great series!
