Book Recommendation ➱ True North: Yule Lads a MM Paranormal Romance by TA Moore

True North True North by T.A. Moore

📘Book Info
Despite what his co-workers say Belling, Montana paramedic Dylan Hollie does not hate Christmas.

It’s just that as an ex-foster kid he learned early on that Christmas just didn’t have much relevance to his life. He’s seen no evidence since then that he’s wrong.

That said, if Santa ever delivered a six-foot plus wall of hot muscle under his tree he’d be willing to reconsider. He’s even sourced an available one locally in the taciturn Somerset North and his impossibly blue eyes.

So really, at this point the ball is in Santa’s court.

There’s just one problem. Well, just one to start with anyhow. The battered, dying man someone dumped from a height onto Dylan’s car outside the Just-as-High, Somerset’s bar. He gave Dylan an old, well-worn watch and begged him to keep it safe.

Now Christmas is relevant to Dylan’s life in the worst way. The Winter Court has loosed their Wolves on the world and Dylan is on the run with Somerset North. A man who seems to know a lot more about what is going on than a Montana bar owner with exceptional shoulders should.

It turns out that Santa is missing, presumed dead. And the key to the hotly disputed succession crisis is a foster kid who never celebrated the season.

💭Our Thoughts
Ever feel like you stepped onto another plane of existence or get that feeling that things are just not quite how they should be?
That was Dylan and I

This was a dark mm fantasy, holiday (sort of) themed, horror, action-packed, light romance, high humor, lots of crimson story
There is off-the-charts chemistry between our two MCs and the banter between them is as entertaining as Hades though the physical is scant

I had so much fun with this and am looking forward to the next one

Dylan was constantly processing and rationalizing events, between blows of WTH. He was such a sweetie always thinking about the other parties well being, even when they were trying to kill him.

Somerset, who found humans amusing, though he had no sense of humor, knew the day would come and he thought he was prepared but Dylan the tiny human was throwing a wrench in his plans
He wasn't about to admit the little human creature with an innocence he wanted to wreck in so many ways, was affecting him

As Somerset is trying to get to the bottom of why his brother chose Dylan and what happened to Santa he finds himself in the protector role (not that he minds) as he and Dylan navigate through the utter chaos required to solve this mystery. Facing wolves in human skin, a Mrs. Claus that will leave you questioning everything you knew about Father Christmas, Witches with heart and some without, a stubborn Detective Lund and so many more.

This is not a cuddly holiday romance!
It is a chaotic crimson crime spree (for lack of a better descriptor, just roll with it) that will require you to let go of your earthly beliefs and embrace the possibilities and the confusion
The tale is packed with action, fantasy, crimson ribbons, humor, graphic moments, a grumpy Somerset, a very optimistic Dylan and lots of friction
