Gwen was a hoot, she lacked that so-important brain-to-mouth filter and it tended to get her in a lot of trouble
Her mom was something else
Percy, newly titled, was about to learn that the title he carried didn't mean immediate automatic respect from everyone. He was also about to find himself very enamored with a not-so-wallflower wallflower
The chemistry between these two was instant. The back-and-forth banter between them just felt natural.
Solid secondary characters

However, if you are looking for an easy-to-follow storyline with engaging characters and a sweet romance that entertains from the opening scene to the closing
