This is one of those reads that feels short, though it really wasn’t
I devoured this in a sitting.
It is packed with all the things that keep me turning pages.

As for dark… I suppose that will be different for each reader; it does have some sensitive topics/triggers.
Overall, a solid start to the series. However, there were some areas I would have liked a bit more detail. I also have some questions, but I think they will be answered as the series continues.
