These two were sugar sweet together
A short, fun read that blended humor and romance with just a touch of drama and suspense
Take your innocent book-loving librarian and place him in the produce section - Toss in a pineapple dilemma and a handsome lawyer who has his own thoughts on said pineapple dilemma, and you have the beginning ingredients for a fabulous relationship
With a few small hiccups along the way, obviously
We can't forget to add a killer kitty or a murderous ex with no boundaries
Maybe even some miscellaneous supernaturals - just to keep things exciting
Oh, and let us not forget that the boss with a taste that falls more toward crimson libations
"I knew you had a drama queen in you."
Just adored these two. The way Mike was so protective of Corvin. How Corvin responded so resplendently to even the most hazardous of situations
"I suppose this is my duty since we shall be wed. I must take care of your carnal needs lest it swells and explodes."
The chemistry between these two was instant and Hades-level hot.
I was a bit mad at Mike for not spilling his secrets sooner, but kudos to Corvin for not blinking twice until it was safe to have his well-deserved reality breakdown
If you are looking for a fast-paced romance on the lighter side with not a lot of heavy details, but that still leaves you with the warm fuzzies, Mike and Corvin are it!
My biggest pet peeve was that I wished it had been a bit longer with a touch more detail - Me being greedy
