This was a colorful and well-illustrated story with an easy-to-follow storyline that will captivate young readers and old alike.

There is even a bit of rhyming.

The story follows two brothers step by step as they construct their own garden with a bit of guidance from their parents.

From tilling and sprouting seedlings, to the final harvest

The author discusses the importance of plants and their contributions to our ecosystem.

How they provide the necessary nutrients that our bodies need.

He also emphasizes natural methods for constructing and caring for your garden.

Such as recycling rainwater, using natural pesticides, worms for soil enhancement, etc

All done in a way that encourages younger readers to get their own hands dirty 😁

My granddaughter began her first garden last season and has had so much fun planting, caring for, and harvesting her own fruits and vegetables.

We have planted everything from beans to sunflowers. She has loved every minute of it. She was able to relate to so much of what was happening in the story. Especially the stinky manure 😝
