💭Our Thoughts
At times I questioned how Lucky Fortune did not see how lucky she really was
All those near misses - That is luck
Someone is trying to take Lucky out of the picture. First the attempts on her, then her clients, and finally her resort.
Can she and her unhandy man Risk figure out who is behind the sabotage before it costs her everything
This was a mix of romance, suspense, mystery, and the occasional mishap or two, or three tossed together flawlessly to make a wonderfully enchanting story
Even presented a few surprises and twists that I didnt see coming
Lucky, despite all the setbacks in her life, was not one to back down when she had her mind set on something. Even if the odds were not in her favor.
Thank goodness for her handyman Risk. Sure it was a risk every day when she gave him his to-do list. But she needed the help.
Excuses? Maybe.
Risk was such a well-written character. Absolutely horrid handyman but when it came to backing up Lucky - Employee of the month
He gave us the clues to figure out who he was but when the reveal came it was still done with a "gotcha" flourish, like his previous employer
"was in an entirely different type of trouble where Declan Risk was concerned"
The chemistry between these two was incendiary.
The little mental remarks from Lucky.
The sly quips from Risk.
The moment they finally capitulated
