This is my first time with this author and I could not put this down!
Jude's search for his daughter's killer is the main focus of Little Blue with the romance taking a back seat to finding the truth, but still prevalent
After his daughter's supposed overdose Jude goes from a healthy successful musician to a washed-up nighttime janitor who is just hanging on to life.
That all changes when a very strange and a tad smelly woman, Mad Madge, takes a seat next to him
"Well, this is as far as I go. The voices are strong tonight and I've got messages to deliver."
Like that isn't ominous
With a little help from the Warlock Jude takes a trip to the other side of the veil. There he discovers clues that hint to his daughter's killer.
And so the journey begins
But things are far from what they seem
What does her mother know?
Is it the musician? The executives? Or someone else?
I was so sure I had all the clues a few times only to find myself back and square one. The twists and "you gotta be kidding me" moments are plenty
A well-rounded cast of characters that kept me guessing if they were friend or foes.
A solid storyline that truly kept me engaged with well-thought-out scenes
