📘Book Info
Can a vampire hunter ever trust a vampire?

After years on the sidelines, Zack Wright is ready to prove he’s worthy of his family’s monster hunting legacy. He’s even got the details to the perfect first hunt. All he has to do is delete an email, kill a vampire, and join his family on the road.

Roger has survived his sire’s cruelty for three hundred years. He conspires with his closest allies to put an end to their torment. But one night in 1989, he falls into a magical coma. He wakes over thirty years later—with a hunter attempting to drive a stake into his heart.

Confused and weakened, Roger needs every advantage he can grasp. He offers Zack the opportunity to hunt his infamous sire. Taking down a legendary vampire would catapult Zack’s reputation and cement his place in the family legacy. However, to get close to their prey, Zack must learn how to be Roger’s pet. It’s supposed to be an act, but Roger is gorgeous, seductive, and genuinely caring.

Catching feelings wasn’t part of the plan. And despite the idyllic small town, someone keeps attempting to hunt the hunter. Can Zack learn to trust what should be his immortal enemy? Or will someone remove Roger’s new ally before they have a chance to bond?

Wrong Hunt is the first novel of a series featuring the same lead characters. Strap in for a slow burn enemies-to-lovers, a trauma-repressed vampire, a hunter who has his world turned upside down and shaken, and a supernatural LGBT+ utopia that’s unfortunately only on paper.

💭Our Thoughts
What do you get when you put a snarky slightly insecure hunter with a 300 year old smexy dominant vamp?

One very entertaining tale guaranteed to leave you with a book hangover!

This is packed with humor, snark, suspense, mystery, sexual tension, action, twists, OMG moments that you won't see coming, betrayals, and more steamy smexy

This starts before the confusion begins and then wakes us up with no idea how we got where we are
That is most of the fun, to be honest
And the running plotline

Zack is just adorably naive and determined to prove his worth.
Sometimes he was quick to pick up the nuances but for the most part it took visuals
I just wanted to wrap him in bubble wrap
His family had my hackles up from the beginning. Just a bunch of know-it-alls who felt he was not quite up to par with the rest of them
They didn't know ZACK!

Roger awakens from a coma to find he has lost 3 decades and doesn't know how he got where he is.
He does however know that his plans have not changed
Especially now that he has a sidekick that makes his heart beat once again...
Among other things

This is the first in a series. It doesn't end on a cliffy more of a to be continued.
It was available in Kobo Plus at the time I read it
