Our Thoughts
This was a scintillating romantic suspense novel that kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end.

The story follows Lizzie who trades her high-power corporate job to relocate to the small town of Southport, North Carolina
New beginnings and healing and all...
Never is that easy though is it?
Lizzie's past is determined to become her present and she soon finds herself battling to stay alive

The author did a masterful job of creating that tension and suspense that keeps the reader guessing, flipping pages, and white-knuckling their reader
The details were spot on - I could picture the town, the storefronts just a realistic feel of being in/at the scene
The characters were well-developed.
Enjoyed how the relationship developed between Josh and Lizzie
The storyline was full of twists and turns
Some I didn't see coming and others were written in glaring neon
I wish there was a bit more action(?) to the ending- those are just my preferences though
If you're a fan of romantic suspense novels, then you'll definitely want to check this one out
This was a page-turning read guaranteed to kick up your heart rate
