Review: Reminders of Her by Claudia Y. Burgoa

Reminders of Her Reminders of Her by Claudia Y. Burgoa
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

"We're reduced to fragments of what we were, love long since cooled into regret and silence."

Someone has put their pain in black and white for all to read
Someone who may have been the catalyst for the destruction of their worlds

When an intimate memoir surfaces, one that is too close to putting their pasts on full display, Greyson, and San are forced to confront old wounds. As they navigate the stinging wounds of their history, they're on a mission to find the person who ripped off the bandages of their past.

Is there a chance this could lead them to something more—a way to fill the void left by her absence?
Because finding her is impossible… isn't it?

This takes us back to the beginning, told partially in epistolary style, and walks us through the events slowly bringing us to this moment
We watch as the jealousies take root
Get glimpses behind the curtain
And lastly, the final event that took their ballerina leaving a chasm between Grey and San that may never be healed

San knows he has to protect Greyson if he doesn't want to see him spiral to his own death
He failed him once
He will not fail again

Greyson...
My heart just breaks for him

"You want us to continue, you have to balance the memories."

This has all kinds of moments
Happy ones
First-moment ones
Angry ones
Sad ones
Jealous ones
Horrifically ugly ones
It's all these moments brought together that gives us the true picture
Be prepared...
Tears - Anger - Sighs of frustration - Smiles - You will get to experience them all

This does end on a cliffy that I'm pretty sure you will see coming
Though I could be wrong
