She had been set up in a way that would allow them to suppress her independence while using her brilliant mind and keeping her in their back pocket -
Until a slip of the veil allowed her to see the truth
Now she has a chance to flourish and a family that will back her every move

I absolutely adore him!! We met him in previous books but to really get to know him...
*sigh* Yummmmm

From beginning to end this was a fast-paced read - lots of humor - some angst - all kinds of steamy smexy - and cameos of some of my favorite characters as well as some new ones

Like all the books in this series
We have growly Alpha Males that will raze the earth to protect the women who hold their hearts
Plenty of crimson moments

Our Thoughts
I was a bit disappointed in the beginning with Mia. She didn't come across, to me, as a strong Donna -
How did her father think she could run the family without knowing the truth?
Sure she could run the above-board businesses with ease but the not-so-legal stuff?
However, my disappointment in her was premature
As the tale of her trip into hades unfolds we get some background, get to see the skeletons hiding in closets
And suddenly everything starts to make sense
Even her father's choice to have her marry - gag - the Venturi heir made sense
Speaking of the heir - I'm sure I could scrape scum off the souls of my shoes that was smarter and would be more respected than him -
Gio is a self-serving maniacal idjiot -
My heart broke for Mia - Family or Self Preservation - She's in a no-win situation
Oh and the kicker?
Yes, it gets worse
The one man who had ever held her heart?
I am not sure if he is still the good guy he once was
I'm not spoiling it - I will let you decide when you get all the facts

Non-stop action and suspense with a twist that should not be possible
Sven has been tasked with capturing Rivka and returning her to the brotherhood for questioning. For the first time in centuries, he finds himself enjoying the hunt. Rivka has proven to be quick-witted, intelligent, and kind. All things that have Sven questioning her guilt.
Rivka has been running from - well everyone - After being set up for a crime she did not commit she has been flashing from location to location in the hopes of finding an old spell book that will allow her to prove her innocence before she becomes just a splatter in some dingy alley
When Rivka and Sven collide fate takes over
Now they will fight side by side to prove Rivka's innocence
These two were explosive - quite literally - from the moment they bumped elbows to the HEA. A believable slow build steamy as hades romance. Non-stop action and adventure from the first page to the last.
If you are a fan of paranormal/fantasy this series is a must
