An absolute blast!

Think mythology blended with mystery and action, sprinkled with dry wit and humor, then wrapped in sarcasm.

Everything you could want!

It truly has all the elements to keep a reader engaged and on the edge of their seat as they try to put all the pieces together with each new clue.

I was laughing at the antics

Rolling my eyes at Luke’s infernal overinflated ego

Even got a bit frustrated when the answers seemed to lead us right back to the beginning

“I’d like a little credit for my restraint. Which is a lot harder for me than most.”

Luke, Hell’s premier playboy and Satan’s once favorite son, finds himself booted from dad’s domain and tossed to the human plane.

Dropped here stark ‘nekked’ with only his imp, Helly, and thankfully his powers, because that would have been hard to explain to the human authorities.

He wasn’t sure exactly why, because let's be honest, you do not ask hell’s king to justify his actions.

He needs to uncover the culprit, and what better way to do that than to join the IA (Infernal Affairs)?

“There’s a darkness inside you. Don’t let it grow any larger.”

Detective Sorcha, a human with a special skill or two, has been reassigned to the IA.

Not by choice, more like the consequences of her actions.

I guess shooting your partner is frowned upon. Who knew?

She is assigned as a partner to Luke.

Turns out Luke is on his 5th partner in the last year or less

Couldn’t imagine why

Ahhh, let the adventures begin.

This was light on the romance; it’s there, and there is a revelation to their attraction.

But the story is more focused on who is doing the unaliving and why so many clues seem to point to Luke.

We also get to meet some of the cast, as well as an outline of the plot for the series.

Not that you would know because this flowed seamlessly, never pulling me from the main storyline

Back to the cast! This had some of the most diverse and entertaining characters.

I can’t help but rave about them.

You have Helly - “not his parner…I’m his damn-it-dog.” She is my fave!

Delilah, who tends to take the wheel quite a bit.

Kyle, the human detective and one of Luke’s biggest pains in the backside. Who is holding a few of his own secrets.

A closet full of demons - they had me rolling.

Jedi, Rory, Luke’s Mom, and so many more

This is the first in a new series that looks like it’s going to deliver with every episode!
