Our very naive princess is about to have her rose colored glasses ripped from her face in a most painful manner.

As Ryden’s plot is unveiled and her role in his plan is made clear, Ana begins to question everything (finally!).

Did she make the wrong choice in leaving the castle with Ryden?

Why is she not feeling safe with and/or attracted to Ryden as she did with Maddoc?

Isn't Ryden her fated mate?

Has she truly been blind to all the atrocities happening in her kingdom?

Maddoc is angry, and this time he will take what is his and no one and nothing will stand in his way.

He will have no qualms about striking down or removing any obstacles between him and Ana
