So enjoyed the relationship between Max and Reid. The slow hints. The solid friendship.
Both men had been secretly pining for the other for years.
One too afraid to take that chance.

Max had always been looking for his “label”. That special relationship that made him feel whole.
While searching, he had missed what was there the whole time. Right within reach.

Reid knew what he wanted. Always had. He also knew that if he moved on his feelings, Max would run.

Wonderful supporting characters - I will be searching for their stories.
It was a novella, so we were given just enough to get our palates wet when it came to world-building and friendships/relationships.
This had all the feels blended with primal high heat romance
