I am not sure how to word this to make it make sense

Collins takes real-world problems, the sweetest romance, and tackles them with humor in a way that hits right

Meg started so far out of her comfort zone.

Newly divorced.

Kids are growing up.

A career that just wasn't going in the direction she had dreamed.

Recent loss of her dad

Taking care of her friend's shop while she faces a medical crisis

Just for starters -

Now, let's add in the landlord who also owns the shop next door

Zak

His life isn't going so great either

I thought to myself when I picked this up, okay, this is going to be a lot of drama and angst, better get the tissue box

NOT!

It has been a while since I laughed out loud so much while reading

That I connected with a story's characters on such a level that I forgot they were fiction

The banter between Meg and Zak

The slow evolution of Meg finding the new her

Zak finding his more adventurous side

The easy chemistry between Zak and Meg (these two are so cute together)

The vibes between them (yes, I am referring to more than just their banter)

The oppses, the near misses, the swinging hits

The stellar secondary characters that also stole my heart

I do hope we get their stories

Such a wonderful read
