EXCERPT
V A N I S H
Those words are hiding in the rain
even vanishing, the memories remain
those words are hiding in the light
even vanishing, I hope you are all right
Don't you need someone to take you by the hand?
don't you need someone to help you understand?
don't you need someone to stay until the end?
LIGHT AND RAIN NEVER HAPPEN IN VAIN.

Thank you so much for featuring WORDS TO THINK. OR TO SING. today.
ReplyDeleteDear A Wonderful World of Words Blog,
ReplyDeleteThank you for introducing WORDS TO THINK. OR TO SING. to your community and for sharing VANISH as your excerpt of choice.
This poetic snippet from one of my songs in progress is about unfulfilled, fading written promises consumed by time and weather, and the gentle rays of hope that come with overcoming the recurring tempests inside.
I’m thrilled to be here and look forward to inspiring conversations and meaningful connections :)
P.S. If you'd like to explore the book further, it was recently reviewed with five stars by two respected sources for book recommendations. Feel free to take a look:

What was the initial spark or idea that led you to write this particular book
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for asking this, Sohamolina!
DeleteThe idea came from a desire to connect more deeply. To inspire reflection, meaningful conversations, and build a sense of community among like-minded, curious minds and kindred souls.
I did not set out to reverse the traditional music publishing model on purpose, but this format felt like the most honest way to offer a glimpse into my art at the earliest stage possible.
At the same time, it allows this multifaceted experience to become more tangible, memorable, and lasting. It even offers space for the reader’s own thoughts and creativity to spark.
To me, emotions, connection, and belonging deserve time to grow and resonate. And words, especially when set to music, have the power to stay with us in profound and meaningful ways.
Our super polished, fast paced world might be glad to find little thoughtful moments to relax, breathe, reflect, and slow down. Spaces where we all, but especially creatives, dare to be more vulnerable, and show ourselves in the process. In the making. In our essence. Simply as human, reflective, expressive beings. Original, present, grounded and relatable.
I also love the idea that the book is just the beginning of our journey together. Even after it is read, there is still so much to feel, discover, and experience. These fragments will become full songs, one at a time, so there is always something we can witness and share as it grows. Not in secret or as a throwback, but in the moment.
If you like to, you can literally see me developing these concepts further, and I would be more than glad and honored to become a music companion to you :)
This looks outstanding! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Michael, for your kind words. They truly mean a lot to me. I wish you a great read and would love to hear which lines resonate most with you.
DeleteAt first glance, the excerpts may seem like accessible, contemporary poetry, but they actually carry a (for now) secret melody, as they are fragments from real pop songs in progress of mine.
I’m sharing them this early so they can spark reflection, inspiration, deeper connection, and hopefully linger a little longer than much of the music out there today.
And even once the book is finished, there’s still so much more to experience, discover, and witness together. I’ll be finalizing and releasing the songs from these lyric excerpts one at a time. I’d be thrilled to have you along for this special unfolding musical adventure. United in intensity :)
The book sounds wonderful. I love poetry.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Pippirose. I hope you also enjoy tuneful poetry or what is often called lyrics because these excerpts are exactly that, glimpses of my real pop songs in the making 😊
DeleteI would love to hear your thoughts on this multilayered experience and whether you feel inspired to stay with me on this special music unfolding adventure.
As the book tour is about to end, I would love to warmly invite you to the free Intense Inside Club. You can easily sign up through my website. That is where I share further insights, little surprises, and more about the songs to come.
