We are currently in Luca's revenge stage with Siobhan as his target
He was so sure he was right - He bet his sanity on it
It may not have been the smartest move
Siobhan has no idea that Luca is still alive until she finds herself at the wrong end of his ire
This does go back and forth when it comes to the timeline.
Fills us in on why Luca is "recovering"
The back story between him and Siobhan
Why he believe she was a spy
And what ultimately peels off his blinders
I am going to suggest reading the first book if you can. This is a standalone in the series, but I think book one covers their "blood demon" side a bit more. Not completely, but I felt like His Dark Vendetta did not cover any of their species' background
For me, this was an okay read. I prefer a lot more details and background
High heat with plenty of tension
