I do not even know where to begin with this review
I did devour this in one sitting
From beginning to end, this was packed with twists and surprises I did not see coming. Add in the undeniable chemistry between Lachie and Anna that was off the charts, along with their "I want you -I can't keep you- I need you - I'm letting you go", which I blame on Lach because he has trouble with the truth, and I was white knuckling my kindle in either anger or suspense throughout
Oh, and then there is his fake but real wife...
Yeah, that is a whole other dynamic to the storyline
"Well, how about you tell me what it is that you do want? Really. Specifically. Because I'll do it if it ends this game. I don't want to play anymore."
I don't blame her. I was getting whiplash!
The alpha male protecting the woman who holds his heart...
She is a lot stronger than you think, and you are not protecting her, you are destroying her
And HOLY HADES Wait for the reveals!!
I made a guess on who was responsible for the betrayal, and I was pretty spot on
I did not foresee the whole debacle about Anna's past - She is a lot more forgiving than I would have been
Loved Anna's family! Her ride or die <3!
