Book Recommendation ➱ Where is Love? an Inspiring Children's story by Annie Caboose

Where is Love? Where is Love? by Annie Caboose
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

📖Book Info
While walking in the garden one day, Annie, a curious little ant from Hillsville, meets a single poppy flower called Love. They become instant friends, sharing stories, laughing and talking for hours on end. Then one autumn day Annie goes to visit Love, but Love is not there. Remembering the rhyme that Love told her, she sets off on an adventure to find Love.

Love is with you every day.
Love is never far away.

Go search, go find and then you'll see
All the places Love can be.

But don't forget to look within
For often, that's where Love begins.

May Annie's story inspire anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved being, to look and perhaps still find them within their lives and within themselves.

💭Our Thoughts
Annie, the curious little ant, befriends a flower named Love

We get to watch them grow together, tell tall tales, and generally play together

Over time their friendship grows but so does Love

Slowly her petals begin to fall and eventually Love is no longer to be found

Annie is upset and thinks to look for her to no avail

Over time and with a little help from words Love bestowed on her Annie realizes that Love is still with her just in a different way

This was a sweet story that explains on a young reader's level the process of aging and loss

Beautifully illustrated pictures help reinforce the storyline and captivate the reader

The story is written in rhyme, which we all know just increases the reading pleasure :)

The story crafted a solid foundation for discussing aging and loss and the concept that those we love are never really gone. We still hold them in our hearts and our memories.
