💭Our Thoughts
This was one of those romances that brought all the feels to the table

Single parent
Reformed bad boy
Second chances
Cutest little tike
Misunderstandings
Small miracles
And so much more

Laura was juggling work, not-so-reliable transportation, being a single mom, and facing temporary homelessness while her apt was renovated
The last thing she needed was for her past to become her present
But sometimes we don't know what we need until it's right in front of us

Carter had beaten the odds. He had left the small town and the troubles he tended to find there.
He had landed at the top, never foreseeing returning to his past.
Until a slip and sip wrapped him around a tree - Landing him back where it all began
And in the care of the woman he never forgot

I knew as soon as Laura's little cheat didn't work fate was at play
The tension between these two was palatable - thank goodness Carter had a better grasp on things
There were times when Laura's inability to see the whole picture had me pulling out my hair

And little dude?
He was just the icing on the cupcake

Overall a good read my biggest issue was Laura and her reactions to everything. A me thing, but it still made it hard for me to connect with her
