I know he did it thinking it was the right thing to do; but would she have faired better if he hadn't? Naya was such a strong heroine. Yes, there were times of short panic. But after her internal breakdown, she straightened her crown and stood strong. I have so many questions about the white magic. I also want to know how the magic and the omegas work in Akoro's world. I also wonder if he is right and the King has something to do with it. This has some darker moments. Great world-building. The vast differences between the worlds. How they wield their magic and the way it is used to craft things. The omegas. This is packed with little breadcrumb trails, which is what kept me so engaged. Not enough to get the whole picture but plenty that lead to what might be. This ends on a to-be-continued I am looking forward to book two
