Harriet’s voice was wild and animated. “Yes! But you have to run both of our horoscopes, together.”

 

Isabella choked down a laugh. She knew Harriet wouldn’t listen to reason if it hit her square in the face. “Harriet, stop it! You are in denial. There is nothing I can do to get you and my brother together.”

 

“What if you gave your brother a love potion?” Harriet blurted and then regretted she had said the words when she saw the expression on Isabella’s face.

 

“Excuse me!” Isabella steeled herself and chose her words carefully.
