His strong hands explore my body over silk and lace until nothing, but the touch of skin on skin will sate his growing desire. A low feral growl prompts my lashes to flutter open.
He gets to his feet, his eyes widening like a predator locked on his prey. “Upstairs. First door on the right. I’ve been waiting seventeen years for this, and if I have to wait one more second, I will rip you out of that five-hundred-dollar dress.”
I don’t waste a moment, aware that he’s a half step behind me as I climb the stairs. When I reach the bedside, I sweep my hair to the side and glance at him over my shoulder. As he accepts my invitation, the warmth of his breath on my neck heightens my arousal. Anticipation resonates in the air around us as he slowly unzips me. It’s what we’ve both been longing for.
My dress falls to the floor, and he forces me to turn and face him. He takes a long, appreciative look at my body. I feel both vulnerable and empowered at the same time. I force my lips against him, deepening the kiss and stoking desire as I breathe in his air.
“Why are you still standing?” he growls, sweeping me off my feet and tossing me onto the bed.

Can you, for those who don't know you already, tell something about yourself and how you became an author?

I never dreamed about being an author. It wasn’t even on my radar when I was younger. In fact, grammar and punctuation hate me. I had a story that I couldn’t get out of my head and a friend convinced me I needed to share it. Hence the Bound4Ireland Series was born almost ten years ago.

What is something unique/quirky about you?

Like the female lead in my new release I have a strong intuitive gift. My grandmother called it our gypsy blood. Too many energies in a room overwhelm me and sometimes… I just know stuff

Tell us something really interesting that's happened to you!

I did a signing at the Stanley hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. Yes… the hotel that was the inspiration for the movie The Shining. We stayed in the room at the top of the grand staircase. In the middle of the night our hotel room door swung open with such a force that it made a loud thud, startling us awake. My husband had put the chain on so it didn’t open all the way into the room. I screamed and my husband started to get out of bed. A voice from outside the hallway said. “My name is Ryan and I’m looking for the Millers.” My husband was furious and he grabbed his pants to put them on and I grabbed his arm before he went to the door. He was confused… and I had to explain to him that there was no light in the room from the hallway. If there was someone standing in our doorway speaking to us through the partially opened doorway then why isn’t there any light?  When he put the light on, the door was closed and Ryan was gone. We went to the front desk but they had no one named Miller registered in the hotel that night and nobody could explain how RYAN ended up with a key that unlocked our door. Gasp !

What are some of your pet peeves?

Slow drivers in the fast lane.

Where were you born/grew up at?

I’m Canadian born, just outside of Toronto.

What are you passionate about these days?

Working towards retirement. And cats.

What do you do to unwind and relax?

I haven’t learned how to do this yet.

Do you have a favorite movie?

Hard to pick one, but I love anything along the lines of Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones. Historical intrigue like Indiana Jones or National Treasure.

Which of your novels can you imagine made into a movie?

I think the series Love in the Hills of the Headwaters would make a good tv series. It’s people you can relate to and stories you can fall in love with all tied up with some magical moments and universal intervention that makes you go… hmmmm

As a writer, what would you choose as your mascot/avatar/spirit animal?
