From USA Today bestselling author Claudia Burgoa comes a heart-gripping, single mom, age gap, secret billionaire romance.

I don’t have time for flings.

Love is out of the question.

As a single mom and small-town doctor, my plate is more than full.

But when Drake Kershaw, an experienced physician with a mysterious past, comes into my life, I can’t resist his charm. He’s unlike anyone I’ve ever met before.

Drake is smart, charming, and has a heart of gold.

But he’s also grumpy and hesitant to let anyone close.

Like the rest of his wealthy family, he’s full of secrets.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s dangerous.

I should stay away, but how can I when he works in my practice?

And despite his grumpiness, Drake is amazing with my son.

He’s patient and kind and has a way of making him laugh that always melts my heart.

Watching them together, I can imagine a future–a future that could never happen.

But can we find a way to overcome our emotional scars and build a future together?

💭Our Thoughts
And so it begins -

"Just a bunch of "fish out of water" billionaires, who, if left unattended, might die before the end of the day"

The Kershaw family has been removed from their comfy high rises, their cushy jobs, and their cavier lunches, and plopped down into the small town of Heartwood.
From CEO, Surgeon, and Socialite to farmer, barista, and bartender.
And it looks like they are there for the long haul

Drake had been unfulfilled with his lifestyle, and his career for so long that Wren, Milo, heck the whole small town feel was a breath of new life for him.
Now if he could get the Doc to let him work at the clinic instead of slinging dung at the ranch his world would be right.

Wren was weary of letting strangers in. She had her own past that she kept locked away; she knew the town's new residents were hiding which just gave her added cause to say no.
But something about Drake just smashed those excuses to smithereens

This was such a fun read.
Wren and Drake just fit -
The way their relationship developed. The easy banter. The chemistry.
When you add the supporting cast
The estranged family that is now forced to act buddy-buddy
The besties that are there at the drop of a margarita with shovels in hand
The town gossips who don't always get it right
The past(s) that seems to find you no matter how far you run
The wee ones who see the world through innocent eyes - and at times vocalize such

You get one fabulous story with the sweetest romance, light angst, lots of humor, and plenty of personal growth
-just wait until you meet this family-
That is guaranteed to have you laughing, blushing, and smiling all over a cuppa
