The intimate scenes were hades level smexy, but they also had an emotional depth to them.
While Luca is trying to keep his streets under control against encroaching organizations, he is also battling mutiny from within the King's organization all while trying to tame and claim his Stella
The plot was fast-paced and action-packed. There were plenty of twists and turns to keep me engaged. This is an organized crime/mafia romance with plenty of violence and suspense, so this book may not be for the faint of heart.
I found it on the lighter side of the dark pool but I tend to enjoy swimming in the deep end.
I enjoyed the back-and-forth between Luca and Stella. The natural progression of their relationship. Stella's character didn't beat around and Luca's marshmallow filling just reinforced her hearts desires
The beginning is a bit slow - new series and all
