Sexy psychic Simon Kincaide and skeptical homicide detective Vic D’Amato are getting married--if the ghost of a murderous magician doesn’t get them first!

Blurb

Simon and Vic’s wedding is just a few weeks away, and they’re hoping for a little peace and quiet to wrap up work before their honeymoon, but nothing ever goes that smoothly.

Strange circumstances around the death of a retired stage magician suggest supernatural involvement, bringing Simon in on the case. The dark secrets of a long-ago resort hotel lead to a trail of unsolved cold cases that have a chilling similarity. Old scandals, malicious magic, and vengeful spirits expose a web of lies, deceit, and death that is headed for a reckoning.

Can Simon and Vic solve the murders, stop the ghosts, keep Simon’s mother from crashing the party, dodge last-minute wedding disasters, and still make it to the altar on time? Or will the shadows of Myrtle Beach’s haunted past ruin everything?

Point Blank is a fast-paced thrill ride MM paranormal romance packed with supernatural suspense, sinister sleight-of-hand, mysterious monsters, psychic visions, hot men, hurt/comfort, loyal friends, wedding planning, found family, ghosts galore, dark magic, and an evolving, established romantic relationship with all the feels.

Author Interview

Q: When did you first realize that you wanted to be a writer?

A: I was fourteen and realized writing books was a ‘job’ you could choose to have.

Q: How many books have you written?

A: It keeps changing, but under both pen names somewhere around 40+

Q: How long does it usually take you to write a book?

A: Depends on the book! Usually about a month to draft and another month to edit, although that can go longer if life gets in the way.

Q: Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?

A: I get impatient with editing and would like to be done before I really am.

Q: Where is your favorite place to write?

A: Anywhere with a view of the ocean!

Q: When you develop characters do you already know who they are before you begin writing or do you let them develop as you go?

A: It’s a mix of both. I start with a pretty solid idea of the characters, but they always come up with surprises, which is delightful!

Q: Do you aim for a set number of words/pages per day?

A: I try to get 10-12 pages/day but it varies.

Q: What is the hardest thing about writing?

A: Editing!

Q: What is the easiest thing about writing?

A: Researching spooky stuff!

Q: What has been one of your most rewarding experiences as an author?

A: When I’ve had low points, reading books got me through them. So when someone says that one of my books got them through a rough patch, it’s a great honor.

Q: What do your friends and family think about you being a writer?

A: They are very supportive!

Q: What do you do when youre not writing?

A: I like to cook and read and travel. We watch a lot of Korean paranormal dramas, and I re-watch Supernatural!

Q:  Do you like music or silence when your write?

A: I’m fine most of the time with music, but I change up genres depending on what I’m working on and my mood.

Q: Do you outline or do you just write?

A: Always outline!

Q: Do you prefer pen and paper or computer?

A: I always write on computer, but I will sometimes outline with pen and paper.

Q: What is your next project?

A: I’m part of the Carnival of Mysteries multi-author shared-world series, which I’m very excited about! My book Roustabout comes out in August.
