This
tale is a new telling of the greatest story ever told, in religious
science fiction, the first of its kind. The story combines the thrill
of a modern spy novel with the allure of a sweet love story. Part
science fiction, part historical fiction, part Christian fiction and
part romance novel, Saving Christ defies categorization.
In
one aspect, this book is comparable to Anne Rice’s Christ the
Lord. Like Rice, Williams had to fill in huge gaps in Jesus’
personal life that are not reported in the Bible or any other texts.
Saving Christ paints a vivid picture of what it might have
been like to walk with Jesus and talk with Jesus in real life, 2,000
years ago. We invite you to read along and discover the human side of
Jesus.

“Congratulations, Agent Williams. I want you to head up the team of a very important mission.”
“Thank you, sir. Can you tell me anything about the mission?”
Peck’s eyebrows lifted. “They haven’t told you yet?” He paused briefly. “Of course, they wouldn’t have. It’s a Top-Secret assignment. They would not have told anyone, until the team leader was chosen.” His eyes twinkled. “I believe you’re about to have your socks blown off.”
As the President explained the mission, Jennifer’s eyes went wide in shock and surprise. “But how is that possible? I thought time travel was strictly science-fiction.”
“And up until now, your belief would have been correct. Not anymore. Tomorrow, you will be flown to the secret facility where the time machine was built to meet the head scientist, Dr. Hathaway, and see the machine for yourself. You will also be shown a video clip and a souvenir from the past. Afterwards, your doubts will disappear.”
Jennifer sat in her chair dumbfounded. “I don’t know. And even if what you say is true, I can’t believe that you want me to command a mission into the past. If this some kind of joke?”
“I assure you. It is not a joke. If you agree, you will be taking a team back into the past to observe and learn the truth about what happened. And not just any past,” he told her with a grin. “You and your team will be going all the way back to the time of Jesus.”
“What? How, how is that possible? I’m not sure I even believe in His existence.”
“Ah, well then, this will be the trip of a lifetime. It will prove to you that He does exist. And that what the Bible says about Him is true!”
“That…that would be earth shattering,” she said in soft voice.
“And just imagine what it would do for the people around the world, if they could actually meet Jesus and see for themselves that He is indeed the son of God.”
“I…How is that possible? You said the machine only holds seven people.” Are you planning multiple trips back in time? But even so, there are millions…maybe billions, who don’t believe in Him.”
“Which is why you are going to convince Jesus not to die on the cross and to come back with you to the present. Seeing is believing.”
“Not necessarily,” Jennifer said. “Look at how many refused to believe back then. The same thing would happen now.”
“Ah, but people the world over know the story of Jesus. All He has to do is a few miracles, and they will believe.”
Jennifer wasn’t sure she liked the President’s idea. “What if He doesn’t want to come back?”
“Simple, we’ll kidnap him.”
