The Problem with Second Chances by Piper Rayne is a heartwarming second-chance romance that will have you rooting for Calista and Rylan from the start.

Calista and Rylan have known each other since they were six years old, and they've been in love for most of their lives. However, their relationship has always been complicated.

They've broken up and gotten back together more times than they can count, and they've always seemed to be at odds with each other.

When Rylan returns to town for his best friend's wedding, Calista is determined to keep her distance. She knows that getting involved with Rylan again would be a mistake, but she can't help but be drawn to him.

As they spend more time together, thanks to some grannies and their friends & family, they start to realize that they're still meant to be together.

Calista and Rylan are two of the most likable and relatable characters I've read in a long time.

They're both flawed and stubborn beyond belief!

Gah, I could not tell you the number of times I wanted to dump some sense into the scene.

Despite or maybe because of their real faults, that at times hit a bit close to home, I couldn't help but root for them to get their happy ending.

The story takes place in a small Alaskan town, and Rayne did a fantastic job of bringing the story to life. I could almost smell the pine trees and hear the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. I adored the supporting family and cast.

I felt like I was a part of the drama lol

I miss the G'mas

The romance itself was slow-burn - They came close a couple of times but little interruptions prevented them from reaching the goal

The tension however was strung tight as a bow string from beginning to HEA

It's the kind of romance that makes you believe in soul mates.
