Book Review: A Vampire’s Spooktacular Wedding by Valerie Twombly

A Vampire’s Spooktacular Wedding by Valerie Twombly

AWWWW the wedding...
You would think that for a newly almost-turned vampire planning an upcoming wedding while being pregnant would be more than enough to lay on one's plate. However, it is the King of New Orleans who is about to take her hand - the preternatural world is watching her every move

But never fear our Sabrina of the multiple personalities has help!
Why Satan himself is handling the wedding plans - Yes you heard me right
It is on Halloween after all - Who better to do it?

But wait let us throw a wrench into the works -

Yes, folks let's add in a dress designer who just happens to be her future husband's ex-girlfriend. Did I mention she was a witch? Yes, a real witch.
Oh and let's toss in a purple dragon who might just have fallen into the hands of an enemy
Then spread some sprinkles from a succubus that needs a little help
And to top off that menagerie of mishaps - Cain, the father of all vampires is awake.
(Sane is questionable but awake is confirmed)
Can our couple meet at the altar in a timely fashion or ...
So much could go right ;)

This is a very comical, at times a bit slapstick paranormal romance. It is the second book in the series and like the first packed with the essence of friends and family, all kinds of mishaps and misdeeds padded with lots and lots of love.
Plenty of steamy smexy moments. Light angst and lots of character growth.
The perfect pool, fireside read.
