To keep me alive, Zarek, the Coletti Overlord, assigned me a partner. Vorian is a badass War Commander who is used to people obeying him immediately. Like that’s going to happen. I will admit he’s sex on two legs, and so damn pretty. But if I let my hormones dictate my actions, we’d be bound for life. Not happening.

Once we rid the galaxy of Mallox and the evil spider lady, I’m ditching his fine ass.

This picks up with Skye chasing the evil witch and her spawn

Knowing only she and her fellow sister witches can save Earth she agrees to "temporarily" assist the Coletti's (We all know how that is going to go) 

Skye has been partnered with Vorian to eradicate the multi-legged goosebump Eww inducing critters and their crazed "mom"

Let the action and hilarity commence 

Skye had me rolling

She was so quick to just blast her problems away 

And Volarian was her perfect partner

He knew enough to just step back and let her toss things about and stay out of her line of fire

Whereas some of the other warriors were a bit slower to catch on and learned the hard way

You can't go wrong with this series

It has humor, romance, action, an engaging storyline, unique characters, and fantastic world-building 

I can be in the worst book slump

Be having an epically craptastic day in desperate need of a laugh

Or just desire to get away from reality for a while

I know I can pick up any one of the books from this series and within a few chapters I'll be laughing and forgetting my problems
