Title: Got Your Six
Series: Owens Protective Services Book 6
Author: Giulia Lagomarsino
Genre: Alpha/Protector Romance
Release Date: January 30, 2023

A chance to prove my love for a woman by risking my life for her.
Everyone else gets to do it, so why not me?
Except, I never imagined she would vanish without a trace.
I thought she had been taken by a gang or a serial killer.
It turns out, sheโs what they call a runner.
Yeah, you heard me right. She runs when people get too close to her.
And not because she has emotional baggage or something.
She doesnโt like people, which I donโt get.
Iโm great people!
That night playing Battleship will go down in the books as one of the best nights of my life.
But apparently, I scared her off when I said I was coming back for her.
And then she landed herself in a Russian prison.
And of course, now she needs me to come to the rescue.
Yeah, Iโll do it. Sheโs my girl. Why wouldnโt I?
I just hoped sheโd never see the one weapon I always deploy.
Tactical Vomit.

โ โ โ โ โ BooksnNooks4Me - โRemarkable! Hilarious! Got Your Six is the sixth book in Owens Protective Services (OPS). I absolutely love this series!โ
โ โ โ โ โ Sexy Sirens Book Blog - โOh My Gosh, I just love Ms. Giuliaโs books. As a rule they are funny, entertaining, suspenseful and romantic storylines all rolled up into one.โ

โHey,โ I nodded as I approached. โI was wondering if I could get you a hotel for the night.โ
He looked past me to Quinn. โWhy?โ
โWellโฆ Iโm sort of on a date, and itโs an important one. Only one chance to seal the deal, if you know what I mean.โ
โIโm a guy. Of course I know what you mean.โ
I held out my hands. โSoโฆhow about it? I can get you a really nice suite at the Holiday Inn.โ
He huffed out a laugh. โNo thanks. Iโll stay in my room.โ
He tried to walk past me, but I stepped in his way. โYeah, thatโs not going to work for me. See, Iโm trying to build a fire with her.โ
โA what?โ he asked, looking at me funny.
โA fire. See, Iโve got the safe spot. If you leave, the area is clear of debris. The ground is moist, but not wet enough to make it difficult to start the fire.โ
โWhat?โ
โAnd I have the tinder bed all ready. Iโm getting ready to add the kindling, but if you show up, Iโll never get to pull out the flint and create that spark.โ
โShouldnโt you already have a spark?โ
I rolled my eyes. This guy just wasnโt getting it. โMan, this isnโt a race. Iโm not looking to throw some lighter fluid on it and toss in a match. I want to nurture the flame and watch it grow. I want a fucking forest fire.โ
โYou know, thatโs really not safe. Forest fires kill people and have astronomical geological effects.โ
I squeezed my eyes shut, pressing my fist to my mouth so I didnโt explode. โItโs a metaphor. Iโm not actually building a fire!โ
โOh, sorry. I got lost in the whole build-up of it.โ
โSo, you get what Iโm saying?โ
โI think so. Although, Iโm not sure you needed the whole fire thing. It was a little weird, to be honest.โ
โYouโre a little weird. You live with this insanely hot woman and you havenโt made a move.โ
โI thought it would ruin the working relationship.โ
โYeah, thatโs a tough move. Not many can do it,โ I agreed. โThereโs a lot of planning that goes into something like that.โ
โExactly. Plus, sheโs really not the type to go back for seconds.โ
โWhich is why you need to build a fire, my friend.โ
He grinned at me and held out his hand. โAlright, Iโll stay somewhere else for the night. Good luck with the tinder.โ
He turned to leave, but I grabbed him by the sleeve. โHey, do you have any games at the apartment?โ
He jerked his arm out of my grasp and shot me a disgusted look. โYou want to borrow sex toys?โ
โNo, you idiot. Games. Battleship, Twisterโฆโ
โOhโฆfor sex?โ
โNo, just to play!โ I nearly shouted. โWeโre building a fire here, remember?โ

I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
