A MUST-read - Seriously bring the tissue box and a stuffie
I just can't conceive that level of self-absorption - both of them - their twisted views - the all-consuming greed
"Take your time. When you're ready to come back to us I'll be waiting"
I loved this side of Kane. Grief can either destroy you or make you stronger. It's a different journey for each of us.
I wasn't sure Barn and Kane were going to make it.
Barn finally saw past all the lies - but the cost
I can't believe Barn's egg donor that woman's got some cajones to flip the script on Barn like that
And Insane Alma 😳 like WTH? I would have introduced her to daddy shark - to heck with forgiveness
So the Dr. and his patient - 🤔 I'm so hoping!
This ends on lots of happy notes - which I needed after the emotional ringer these three put me through - as well as some loose ends that I am hoping get dealt with soon

Lair so royal brings everything to a close
Answering the who and why questions (most of them at least)
Setting up the possibilities for the next generation
And giving our fearless clan leader his HEA
This episode is a bit heavier on the non/dub scenes
Khyros has finally found his dragon and nothing and no one will stand in his way of getting answers.
Makes the inquisition a bit more exciting when his prisoner turns out to be a challenge -
Mentally and physically
Azenyah has been held captive believing she was a prisoner of her mate's insanity. She has no intention of giving him anything but empty air
I wanted to toss Khyros off the edge - with his magic bound - he infuriated me to no end
Azenyah was stubborn but I got it - she had been trapped for centuries what was old to the clan was new to her
Solid ending to the series

Really, why do you take, what's supposed to be a strong likable heroine and turn her brainless, even for a moment?
I was okay with how this crossed between the lines of plausible and slightly outside the lines
I liked Hawk. He was all growly, chest-pounding gooey goodness with Cherry.
Walked the line between good and bed quite sexily
Cherry was a smart, outgoing, pull-up-them-big-girl panties-when-she-had-to, take no sass kind of gal.
Yeah, it was an instant capitulation, juices-flowing kind of chemistry between these two, and Hades did it work.
I was okay with the insta
Yes, the story was fast-paced and occasionally a bit on the "it could happen" track
I was okay with that too
Lots of action - a wee tiny tinge of angst
Heck I didn't even need all the background details to connect and enjoy the cast (says something)
Then you took a smart woman and dumbed her down 😞
sure it worked out but still...
Despite how mad I am at that - I am looking forward to the next in the series

I ported into this series with Oops! Human -
It was such a fun read, filled with intriguing characters, a well-thought-out universe, and the sweetest romance. There were some lulls in the story but at about a third of the way in I legitimately couldn't put it down.
Left me with a solid ab workout and all the feels
Am going back to read the series as there is a certain vampire and dwarf I have to know more about

- It was a wrap-

But some things are just meant to be
Nyx is such a blast - innocent, curious, playful, deadly
With way more self-control than I could ever hope to have
She just wanted to make new friends, experience their world- maybe even hang out for a bit ---
But noooooo
You all had to keep trying to dispose of her
That was okay though she could hold her own
Then you took it too far
You messed with what was hers
