So I jumped into this series with Prince of Hawthorne Prep

I was able to follow the storyline, but I believe I would have had better connections to the cast if I had read the previous books - A me thing definitely as the cast here was the kind you instantly loathed or loved, and yeah later you may sway a bit but most of my first instincts seemed spot on

This does end on a cliffy

I liked Delilah for the most part - She is book-smart but a little too blind when it comes to the real world and at times I questioned her life choices.

Like why Delilah would stay with "make me want to regurgitate Mr. Entitiled"

Her excuses just didn't balance what was happening

Austin is a great character - has no flips to give and can't find any to harvest

Except when it comes to Delilah

There were so moments when his decisions were questionable and had me wanting to reach in and shake him

IMO this was not really "dark" as much as it was a bully romance that had some darker moments both emotionally and physically there are some trigg scenes so take that into account before diving in

I want to know how this ends - like yesterday
