Writing THE SECRETS WE CONCEAL has been an incredible journey. Writing through paramount sadness recalling moments from the past was challenging, but also immensely gratifying. I am who I am today partly because of my life’s experiences, all of them. I believe a glass half full mentality is what keeps me going, I make a personal choice to find the good in all things each day and appreciate the gifts that each person in my life has to offer. My hope is that this book will shed light on an uncomfortable topic and allow others to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
