Holy hotness

This was a new author for me so the cast was also unknown and there were times I wish I had read or knew more about the supporting characters - only because they were so much a part of the MC life and guess what? Many of them have previous stories out - So I will be exploring that

It didn't make the story any less enjoyable just had me adding to my TBR pile 😊

Enough rambling...

Levi was drowning in life's demands

Recently widowed with a teenage son, a mound of medical bills and now 18months of his life "poof" gone when his team's raid went all kinds of FU*BAR

He wasn't sure how long he could keep treading water

I enjoyed the details the author presented us as the investigation proceeded - I liked trying to piece things together

Then you had the chemistry between Levi and Marsh -

Marsh was naturally charismatic and the tension to avoid going beyond platonic kept building until

Boom!

Devoured this from beginning to end

Mystery, suspense, and lots of action.

A solid romance - Marsh's responses felt natural.

Positive secondary characters that added to the overall tone of the story
